As the founder of BeyondImage, people often assume I’ve been a confident individual all my life. But in reality, I’ve struggled with my self-confidence for many years before I entered this industry.

Hi, my name is Jade!

As the founder of BeyondImage, people often assume I’ve been a confident individual all my life. But in reality, I’ve struggled with my self-confidence for many years before I entered this industry.

Raised in a Chinese educated background, she grew up without proficient English speaking abilities. Unable to communicate in this ‘foreign’ language, she often retreated from social events. Then one day, she realised that her fear was holding her back–her limitations stopped her from pursuing her passion and achieving greater things. So, wanting to achieve personal breakthrough, she became a camp counselor in the United States. She overcame the language and cultural barrier, and discovered her love for people and her passion in helping them go beyond their limits. Starting out as a journalist for Nanyang Siang Pau, she became a translator, then a trainer, and now a speaker and a life coach–a confident leader. She knows how fear can hold you back. She understands your struggle with self-confidence. But she has learned to break free, and she can help you achieve a breakthrough too. Thus, BeyondImage was born.

Formerly the President of Taman Indrahana Toastmasters Club and Area Director of Toastmasters International, and immediate past President of the Association of Image Consultants International. She is now the President of Business Network International, Premier Chapter. She is also one of the four Personal Efficiency Facilitators in Malaysia with PEPWorldwide, mastering Personal Efficiency, Effectiveness, and Team Impact–her expert opinions on appearance, behaviour, and communication have been widely published and broadcasted via Nanyang Siang Pau, NTV7, and RTM. Jade believes that through leading others, she has transformed from a task-oriented person to a people-oriented person. She has learned that being a leader requires her to expand her skills and build her confidence. With her experience, she now leads others through change–unleashing their highest potential. And she strongly believes, that just like her, anyone can influence their circle and their future by starting from within. Clarity, presence, and influence are beyond the external – they begin from within you.
